thenogoseks.com is a private application built for exactly two people: Joe and Rachel Nogosek. Nobody else has an account, and none ever will. This is a household tool, not a product — the practices below describe exactly what this app does, not a generic boilerplate list of things a company might do.

What we access

Signing in with Google also grants the app read-only access to your Google Calendar (the calendar.readonly scope). The app never creates, edits, or deletes calendar events, and never requests write access. You can revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

What we store

Calendar data (cached briefly to avoid hitting Google's API on every page load) and household records you enter directly — house listings, finances, quick notes, and similar — are stored in a Supabase Postgres database in the United States. Your Google refresh token is encrypted before it is stored; it is never written in plain text and never sent to a browser.

What we don't do

Nothing here is shared with anyone else, sold, or used for advertising. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no third-party cookie, and no processor beyond the infrastructure named below. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing non-essential to consent to — the only cookie set is the session cookie required to keep you signed in.

Who runs the infrastructure

Netlify (hosting), Supabase (database), Google (sign-in and calendar), and the National Weather Service (forecast data, no account or key involved). None of them see anything beyond what is necessary to provide their service.

Deleting your data

Ask Joe. Since there are two of us, that's the whole process.
